The Victory Cup Belgium is an unofficial, privately organized working dog competition, organized by Team Vorst.

Although Team Vorst is a member of the VVDH, The Victory Cup Belgium is an unofficial competition and is not recognized, sanctioned, or organized by the VVDH. This event is in no way affiliated with, recognized by, organized by, or connected to the VVDH, nor to any other national or international canine or sporting federation, including the FCI.

The competition is privately organized by Team Vorst and takes place entirely on private property.
Participation does not grant any official titles, qualifications, certificates, or points.

The class structure (Class 1 and Class 3) is an internal, non-official classification, used exclusively for this private event and has no regulatory or sporting status.

The exercises and judging are inspired by protection work (Section C) as known in working dog sports, but are not conducted under official IGP regulations.

The judges act exclusively within a private context, as evaluators for this unofficial event, and not in their capacity as official IGP judges or representatives of any federation.

Participation in The Victory Cup Belgium is entirely voluntary and implies full acceptance of the unofficial and private nature of the event.
This competition cannot be interpreted or considered as an IGP competition, IGP trial, IGP examination, or official sporting activity, nationally or internationally.

⚖️ Liability & Responsibility

By registering for, participating in, or attending The Victory Cup Belgium, all participants, handlers, owners, helpers, and spectators expressly agree to the following:

  • Participation is entirely at one’s own risk.

  • Each participant is at all times fully responsible for their dog(s), equipment, actions, and behavior.

  • The organizer, Team Vorst, as well as its members, volunteers, helpers, judges, and any persons acting on behalf of the organization, cannot be held liable for:

    • injury, illness, or death of persons or dogs

    • material damage, loss, or theft of property

    • accidents occurring before, during, or after the event

  • Participants confirm that their dog(s):

    • are in good health

    • are sufficiently trained and under proper control

    • comply with applicable animal welfare and safety regulations

  • Any damage caused by a participant or their dog(s) to persons, animals, or property remains entirely the responsibility of the participant/owner.

Spectators also acknowledge the potential risks associated with working dog sports and fully accept these risks by their presence.

Participation in this competition is entirely voluntary and implies full acceptance of the unofficial and private nature of the event.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Training session: from 2:00 PM, without the competition protection helpers, but held on the competition field.
    Each participant will have 5 minutes to use the field.
  • Location: Rauwstraat 18, 2431 Veerle
  • White dog: 7:45 PM – same location
  • Draw: 8:15 PM – same location

  • Competition Day
  • Start: 6:00 AM
  • End: 8:30 PM

  • Lunch: Chicken leg with vegetable buffet and French fries (€20)
  • Entry fee: €35 per dog
  • Participant limit: CLASS 1 (16) + CLASS 3 (35)

Competition Regulations

📜 Competition Regulations – The Victory Cup Belgium

The Victory Cup Belgium is an unofficial, privately organized working dog competition by Team Vorst and is not affiliated with the VVDH or any other federation.

By participating in the competition, you agree to these regulations, the disclaimer, and the liability conditions.


Competition Format

The competition is open to CLASS 1 and CLASS 3 dogs.

  • One (1) protection work round will be performed

  • Only Section C (protection work) will be judged

  • The final is only contested by the 6 best CLASS 3 dogs

  • There is no final for CLASS 1


Judging & Scoring

  • Section C is judged by two judges: Camilla and Robbie

  • Each judge awards points individually

  • The average score (out of 100 points) determines the ranking

In case of a tie, the youngest dog will be ranked higher.


CLASS 1 – Prizes

  • 1st place: IQ Dogsport Multifunctional Jacket 3.0 or Training Jacket 2.0

  • 2nd place: €150

  • 3rd place: €100


CLASS 3 – Final & Prizes

  • No winner is determined during the regular CLASS 3 competition

  • The 6 best CLASS 3 dogs qualify for the final

  • The final determines the winner

CLASS 3 Final Prizes

  • 1st place: €1,000

  • 2nd place: €750

  • 3rd place: €500


Conduct & Responsibility

  • Participants are always responsible for their dog(s) and behavior

  • Instructions from the organization and judges must be followed

  • Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in disqualification


Final Provision

By participating, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these regulations.
